1.  Cervical Cancer Vaccine To Be Launched In India Next Year: Exports will have to wait till 2024, its chief executive Adar Poonawalla said.

1. Gujarat High Court on Friday refused to grant bail to former Gujarat home minister Vipul Chaudhary, who is facing charges of alleged financial irregularities to the tune of Rs 750-800 crore during his tenure as Dudhsagar Dairy chairman.


2. The Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court on Thursday directed the Nagpur authorities and the police to take stern action against anyone obstructing them from acting against the menace of stray dogs. The court said that people interested in feeding strays must first formally adopt them and only feed them inside their homes.


3. Enforcement Directorate, ED has carried out searches at five premises in Bengaluru city, in an ongoing investigation relating to the Chinese Loan App Case.


4. Enforcement Directorate has provisionally attached seven immovable properties worth 1.48 crore rupees during the investigation against Mukhtar Ansari and his aides under Prevention of Money Laundering Act 2002. 


5.  A special court in Mumbai on Friday rejected the bail application filed by former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh in an alleged corruption and misuse of official position case.

1. Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services Ltd announced a strategic partnership with India Post Payments Bank to enhance credit access to a larger customer base.  It will provide lead referral services to Mahindra Finance for Passenger vehicles, three-wheelers, tractors, and commercial vehicle loan etc.


2. Centre has appointed Sanjay Malhotra, a 1990 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Rajasthan cadre, as the new revenue secretary.


3. Make My Trip, Goibibo (MMT-Go), and OYO were fined Rs 392 crore by the Competition Commission of India (CCI). CCI fined these companies for "unfair business practices"


4. India ranks third in the world's first-ever global study on the rise of centi-millionaires individuals with assets of more than Rs 830 crore ($100 million).  Out of the world’s 25,490 centi-millionaires, India has 1,132, beating countries like the UK, Russia and Switzerland.

1. India  successfully test-fired made-in-India new-generation medium-range ballistic missile 'Agni Prime' from the Odisha coast, Defence Research and Development Organisation 

( DRDO) sources said.


The sleek missile was test fired from a mobile launcher from the APJ Abdul Kalam Island around 9:45 am.  The new-generation medium-range ballistic missile's strike range is between 1,000 km and 2,000 km.


2. Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena approved the setting up of four Zila Sainik Boards (ZSBs) which are responsible for policy formulation and implementation of resettlement for ex-servicemen.


3. Mission DefSpace was inaugurated at DefExpo2022 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat by the prime minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi). The project’s goal is to create cutting-edge defence forces in the space industry.


4. *ARUNACHAL PRADESH* : An Indian Army helicopter crashed in Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Siang district on Friday morning. "A total of five personnel were on board.


5. A fisherman in Tamil Nadu sustained injuries after the Navy "fired warning shots" in mid-sea on Friday. Following the incident, CM MK Stalin wrote to PM Narendra Modi, urging him to direct the armed forces to "exercise extreme caution and restraint".


6. An Indian Navy vessel intercepted a suspicious boat in Palk Bay, near the India-Sri Lanka International Maritime Boundary Line on Friday. As the boat did not halt despite warning messages, the Navy ship fired warning shots.
